EMC
The EMC Regulations became mandatory on 1st January 1996. Amendment regulations implement the CE Marking Directive as it affects the EMC Directive. It is a requirement that equipment shall neither produce electromagnetic emissions, nor be affected by external electromagnetic fields. Cables can act as effective aerials, either radiating or picking up unwanted electromagnetic interference.
We offer a number of techniques to eliminate this problem including fully shielded connectors, double screened cables, filtered connectors and the use of ferrite sleeves and beads.
